A year of building things

This year I tried to make my side projects smaller. Instead of starting with every feature I could imagine, I started with one useful interaction.

Finish the smallest version A finished tool teaches different lessons from a promising prototype. Someone has to understand it, use it, and recover when something goes wrong.

Leave room for curiosity Not every project needs to become a business. Some are an excuse to understand a new idea. The reading tracker was exactly that: a tiny tool that helped me build a lasting habit.

Looking ahead Next year I want to connect my writing, reading, and projects in one place. This notebook is the beginning.
